Interlocking Cross-Laminated Composite (ICLC) facade prototype developed in partnership with Matthew Bertsch. A combination of custom dovetail and tongue-and-groove joints enable a glue-free and seamless multi-material evolution of the standard CLT.
This prototype was specifically designed for use with the redesign of the Princeton School of Architecture’s satellite shop facility for the integrated design studio led by Paul Lewis. Facade inspired by the ICLT concept developed at ITAC, University of Utah.
